Hotel Transylvania Blind Box Codes Revealed - The Secret of the Trunks

    When the Hotel Transylvania Monster Mayhem Series 1 Mystery Packs came out, I felt a mixture of excitement and dread. On the one hand, there were cool new mini figures to collect. On the other, there weren't visible markings on the packaging to give away which figures came in which trunks, and worse, not all figures came in a case. With 61 figures in the series, how could anyone hope to keep track? 

    Deep inside I knew there was to code to crack, and the realization came to me while carefully inspecting a trunk: it's a combination of the trunk color, its expression, and the color of the key. 

    While I don't have photos of every combination, without further ado you can find an unofficial guide to knowing which figures you're purchasing. Bonus: These trunks have all of Hank's Build-A-Figure parts, so if you're missing a body part you can find the right piece below. Unfortunately I didn't record if the limbs belong to the left or right side, but at least you don't have to buy 60 trunks before finding a body part, right?

K'Nex Series 4 Super Mario Blind Bag Codes

I recently found the Series 4 K'Nex Super Mario blind bags at my Target and have been meaning to post the codes here for over a week. I'm not sure on ratios on this one, since the blind bags were scattered around the Halloween section of the store. However, Bowser Jr. and Waluigi seem to be the rarest (only 1 of each), Mario, Luigi, and Donkey Kong moderately rare, and Bob-Omb and Toad the most common.

Here are the codes for each:

K'Nex Series 3 Super Mario Blind Bag Codes

Series 3 of the K'Nex Super Mario blind bags are out, and this set is a really great one. The common figures are Cheep Cheep, Diddy Kong, and Bullet Bill; the rare figures are Mario, Pink Yoshi, and Toad; and the "elite", or ultra rare figures are Bowser and a Hammer Brother, which come only one per case.
